2-Day Equine Sculpture and Anatomy for Artists Workshop

with Judy Boyt and Gillian Higgins

23rd and 24th August 2017

Wavendon Grange, Lawn Lane, Old Dalby Leicestershire, LE14 3LW

This should give you a good area to concentrate on in the construction of the skull and how the horse uses it is relation to the body in motion or standing. Concentrating on the portrait of the horse.

During this course we will be using two horses as models with slightly different heads. The challenge will be to do an actual portrait, not just any horse, but of one of the two infront of us.

By focussing on this part in detail it will give an opportunity for the individuals to learn more about shape and how to use their tools and materials to greater effectiveness.
