Massage is a powerful tool and has so many benefits, and now horse owners can learn how to massage their own horse with the Horses Inside Out Online Massage Course. Learning these skills will help owners to build a better bond with their horse and help keep him comfortable and happy between visits from their professional therapist.
Pre orders for this exciting new course are now being taken. It will officially launch on Friday 5 May 2023.
As riders and owners, it’s important to take responsibility for our horse’s musculoskeletal comfort. There is a lot that we can do to help keep their bodies comfortable and performing well, from the way we manage and feed them, dentistry, worm management and veterinary care, saddlery and bridle fit, to groundwork, pole work and appropriate exercise. Massage is just one of the many tools we can use to care for our horses, and it goes a long way to help maintain musculoskeletal comfort and performance.
This online course will give you a thorough understanding of the principles of massage and the benefits. Plus, it looks in detail at each of the massage techniques and targeted massage routines.
This comprehensive self-paced course is given in easy-to-follow modules with over six and half hours of video tuition – all backed up with a handy workbook. Gillian’s passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for the topic makes the course fun, yet extremely educational.
"Massage is a great way to connect with and get to know your horse, as well as helping them to feel happier and more comfortable. Massage is one of those tools that we can all learn to help our horses stay comfortable, and as a thank you for everything that they do for us.”
The Horses Inside Out Online Massage Course provides a step-by-step guide that will give you the skills, techniques and confidence to massage your own horse. You will learn the techniques that will really make a difference to your horse’s comfort, health and performance.
This course is designed for horse owners - it's not a qualification course. This course will give you techniques that you can do with your own horse. However, it doesn't give you a certificate to be able to go out and practice massage on other people's horses. In the UK we have the veterinary act that basically says that you don't have permission to treat other people's horses unless you've got permission from a vet and unless you are fully qualified.
As a horse owner massage is a useful skill to learn and can help you to maintain your horse’s suppleness, flexibility and comfort between visits from your professional therapist. Learning the basic skills of massage will also help you to develop a better relationship with your horse and identify any changes that may be happening, so you can act on them quickly before they become an issue.
Sign up to the Horses Inside Out Online Massage Course today – your horse will love you for it.
